I'm sorry to have to tell you, but granitecanyon is
notoriously instable at times. I moved my domains away from them because
DNS servers have been down for changes for months if I recall correctly.
The error you're getting means that granitecanyon.com have not yet loaded and
started serving your domain (being authorative in other
words).
If you stick with them, make sure that you can 'dig' or
'nslookup' the zone files from your own machine and from somewhere
else. Try http://net.apollo.lv/index.php to
test from Latvia. If it works from there and your own machine, then it's
pretty much certain that the zone is loaded.
Alternatively try hosting your domains at www.zonedit.com. It's an excellent
service, the first 5 zones are free, they do mail and web forwarding and the
change are available almost right away after your zone has been actived
initially. They will do your secondary, but you can also have one for free
over and www.secondary.com which is
now part of www.ultradns.com. The
also have a nice dns primer, if you need something like that, over at http://www.ultradns.com/secondary/support/dnsprimer.html
Once everything is in place, and Christiaan or one of the
other over at za.net get around to approving your registration, you won't have
any problems anymore.
Hope that helps
