RE: FW: [FreeDNS] Policy Aenderung Freedns

Hi Guys (and Gals)

I read through this and I honestly think that Pavel was just attempting to
reply to a mail he received from his service provider, or trying to forward
the information on to somebody he thought didn't know (maybe through lack of
english skills - the same way most of us had problems understanding his
German).

Anyway, this detracts from the original email of the day, which was sent by
Hendrick Meyer:

-----snip-----
When trying to modify domain I keep on getting:- "Modify or Delete request
not received from a valid contact for this
domain." But the request was indeed submitted from the Technical Contact
mail address.
-----snip-----

Hendrick, have you checked with the whois engine at www.za.net to see
whether this is the correct listing under the admin contact?

Also, are you sure that your transmitted email address (HendrikM@xxxxxxxxxx)
is the same as you are expecting to be transmitted?

Hopefully, checking those basics should solve your problem. Otherwise this
may have to be handled by an administrator of the system.

Yours faithfully

What Johann said is completely accurate. Speaking for the ZA NiC
admins, this has nothing to do with us whatsoever. One can only
assume that "pavel3" has got us confused with somebody else.

Having said that, if anyone is ever approached to pay for za.net
or za.org domains and services in this fashion - please do let us
know as soon as possible so that we can investigate. You can always
get hold of us at hostmaster@xxxxxx
