Samuel: I've tried to find on-line resources describing this procedure, but I guess the only way to learn is to do dummy registrations (which is usually not allowed). I'm puzzled... how do you link the host to granitecanyon? Or perhaps I should ask the other way round: how do I get granitecanyon to forward a website request to the host? Suppose I'd like to use a freehost, and lets take the blad example Geocities... how do I get the url to forward to that address once I'm done with granitecanyon? I don't mind surfers seeing the ugly long freehost address in their address bar. Actually I don't have a subdomain registered at za.net, but at eu.org, but the guy who kindly DNS'ed, hosted and e-mailhosted my domain name got a new boss, who scrapped all "private" hostings from their computers. So now I have to use public services. Eu.org doesn't have a mailing list like this one. _____________________________________________________ FreeDNS ZA NiC - free domain names freedns@xxxxxx Archive: http://www.za.net/freedns/
