[FreeDNS] Proposal for new subdomain

Hi all,

The positive response ZA NiC has received over the last 2 years has 
shown us that there is still a large demand for free domain 
registration. With that in mind we have been pursuing the creation of 
a new domain space - rec.za.

This would be another free domain registration service in line with
the existing za.net and za.org service, and would be aimed at South
African individuals or organisations who wish to register their
own subdomain for recreational use. The rec.za namespace and
subdomains would fall under the existing ZA NiC domain registration
policy (http://www.za.net/policy.html).

One of the requirements of the ".za" naming authorities is that the 
administrators of a new .za domain need the consent of the potential 
users to run it. In supporting ZA NiC in this new venture, you would 
be agreeing that the ZA NiC administrators, headed by Christiaan Keet, 
would be responsible for the administration of the rec.za namespace. 

If you support the creation of the rec.za domain with ZA NiC as the 
administrators, please send an email to rec.za@xxxxxx with the subject 
line of "AGREE".

Your email address will be added to a list which will be included
in our final proposal to the ".za" naming authorities. Your email 
address and record of your support will otherwise be kept completely 
confidential.

The more consenting votes we have, the stronger our final application 
will be. Please feel free to forward this email on to any other 
parties who would be interested in supporting the creation of a new 
rec.za domain space.
