Well, i actually did quite a bit of groundwork on a project called WebDNS .. i still have a lot to finish though .. but what makes it cool is, it can administrate unlimited nameservers, and unlimited domains.. and it runs on php+*sql, with a little daemon that just checks if the nameserver is supposed to be getting any new domains. I also intended putting in some basic virtual host things for apache, and maybe even mail users in exim (love database access =) ), but the 18-20 hour work thing got the better of my good intentions.
