[FreeDNS] Address harvesting

For about the thousandth time now, my email address has been harvested 
from the ZA NiC FreeDNS list.

I'd like to know how this is happening and if there would be any steps 
done to prevent this happening in future, as this seems to be 
happening far too often. I'm fine if people receive a mail as a result 
of being subscribed to the list, but I'm worried its being archived 
somewhere without masking the sender addresses.
