RE: [FreeDNS] both name servers on same ip

How long ago did you define the domain on those nameservers?

Possibly you should wait about 12 hours for the nameservers to propogate and
then try the submission again.

Alternatively increase the version number in the SOA record to speed up the
prop.

hay,

love this service wish i had found it years ago.

but my problem now is i have 2 names servers both on the same ip address, i
want to add them both to the ns records but i get this error

ERROR: Nameserver ns2.kauaiwireless.com is not authoritative for mac.za.org

i know that having both name servers on the same ip is a bit stupid but lets
not get into that
