You cannot impose constructive helpfulness to practical jokers.
Likewise uninterested novices cannot be educated against
their will.

With a fraction of the wit and of the
patience exerted for that joke,
you could teach her what she needed
in no time.  Odds are she was already 
deleted  from the list before the second
