Surely if there are a few of you about you can afford at least an analogue
leased line (33.6kbps) from some ISP and they can run primary DNS for you -
else if like you say you are getting into Sysadmin you can do it youself -
with some help from the list of course?

Also if I can recommend, contact someone at http://www.linuxuser.co.za. If
you want a person there's e-mail and name send me e-mail directly to my
address and I will provide you with the dope.  They have set up a LUG and
can probably give you a lot of good advice.
