I don't understand your argument. On ZA NIC side, it could be fully automated, so no problems there. If you are a webhost in charge of multiple domains, you should take responsibility for them just like with payed domains, and could automate the task anyway. On the other hand, if you personally own N domains, then of course you should take responsibility for each and every one and should only complain to yourself for being a domain hog.

In my opion it is a matter of responsibility.
Samuel is 100% right in saying that this deals with inactive admins of active domains, and I agree that it is a little agressive, but that's how it works everywhere else. Since ZA NIC provides a free service, I see it as a priviledge to own such a domain and owners could at least take some form of accountability.

Ultimately, I guess Samuel's approach would be the least intrusive, and since I'm as lazy as any of you, I'm with him on this one.
