I tried the query a few times and one of the times I saw this warning: ;; Warning: ID mismatch: expected ID 15545, got 24545 ; <<>> DiG 9.2.3 <<>> @196.35.23.3 penryn.za.net soa ;; global options: printcmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 15545 [...] 24545 was the ID of the query before that. DNS queries have random IDs in them so that the requester can tell which reply goes with which query. Your name server seems to have replied to my query with the ID of the previous query! This only happened once, though, so maybe you should just ignore it for now. Try registering again. -- Michael Wood <mwood@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> _____________________________________________________ FreeDNS ZA NiC - free domain names freedns@xxxxxx Archive: http://www.za.net/freedns/
