Your configuration on ns2.controlpanel.za.net is incorrect.

You have a 0 ttl (time to live) for your SOA (Start of Authority) record

Look at the following URL :

Here is a guideline for SOA TTL times :

RFC1912 2.2 recommends 1-5 days (86400 to 432000) unless you are about to
change DNS entries. This value used to determine the default (technically,
minimum) TTL (time-to-live) for DNS entries, but now is used for negative
caching.

I am sure that once you have made the change that ns2.controlpanel.za.net
will be authoritative for controlpanel.za.net and you will then be able to
change you records at za.net
