RE: [FreeDNS] DNS Probs

Hi,

 

It seems as though those that have been with ZA Nic for sometime are also having problems. I have tried both my hosting providers and ZA Nic to resolve the following error:

 

ERROR: Nameserver ns2.controlpanel.za.net is not authoritative for indi.za.net

 

I have done everything by the book, yet I still have no luck. The domain address above I recently tried to update using:

 

ns1.controlpanel.za.net - 65.57.233.66

ns2.controlpanel.za.net - 65.57.233.2

 

These nameservers were registered about a month ago and still I am having problems trying to update or register websites. Can anyone please help. I am using the H-Sphere control panel to manage my hosting services for clients and have about another 30+ website I need updated as soon as possible.

I been with ZA Nic for years now and from time to time when I?m forced to change hosts for whatever the reason I am faced with the problem of ZA Nic not recognizing or seeing a domain name server.

 

For example:

 

The results of your modification request:

 

ERROR: Nameserver NS2.FELXI.COM could not be found

 

I know for a fact that the above mentioned dns server works because I have seen domains work with it.  So that leaves me with one conclusion.  ZA Nic can?t see it from their end.

 

Do any of you friendly folks perhaps know a way around this?
