In answer to your question, the above is an entire HTML mailto: link encoded
as HTML Ampersand codes which is readable by all browsers. The mailto: part
is itself encoded. This will foil the spam bot.

mailto:thomasm2@xxxxxxxxxx  is what is encoded by the above text.

Typing ALT+0109 gives us the letter 'm'. Typing ALT+058 gives us the ':'
etc., which are standard ASCII codes
