Hi Anna and the rest....

Been watching this topic for a few days now, and have decided to air my
views as well.

1) Mail filtering from the ISP side....I don't really like this idea, as to
me it is almost an invasion of privacy. However, as usual, there are two
sides to the story...maybe the ISP could provide software to it's users so
they have the option of filtering it from the user's side ?

2) filtering from the mailling list admin: Well, yes, that would be a good
idea, however, I pity the poor admin who has to go through vast bulk mail to
filter each and every email.

3) If you use the internet, I think you should be capable of installing and
running an up-todate virus checker/filter. Or at least be capable of getting
someone with some savvy to do it for you. (Now I'm going to be rude here,
pls don't flame) Failing these two suggestions of having a virus checker on,
I don't see why you should be on the internet at all !!!

Sorry if this offended anyone, I'm sure alot of us have problems with users
having no clue of what is going on on the internet.
