Ran into the same prob myself with a DNS host .. finally came up 
with a solution which worked for me.

1.	As I use WinNT Server at work, I merely set up my own DNS PDC
2.	I used then Granitecanyon as SDC
3.	For email, I also set up my own email server
	(there's freeware out there to do it, I chose a program called
"ifmailtray.exe"
	which is out there on the freeware sites, search for it)
4.	If you will be hosting your own mail, don't forget an "MX" record on
	your DNS PDC
5.	Don't forget to get the DNS entries authoritative BEFORE you try to
	register with ZA.NET (although you had better make sure your choice
	is avail first)

This worked for me, unfortunately I cannot volunteer my server for a
public
dns server, but I bet my socks there are two of you out there who are
running
NT Server or other servers capable of serving up DNS who can get this
thing
coordinated for everyone.  It only takes about 3 min to set up a DNS,
not really
labor intensive.  Then you all will need to count on no corporation for
a
DNS server, as it would be all-volunteer.

So how about it???  How about a couple of volunteers out there?????
